*Ramadhan Day 1*
As Salam Alaykum, wa RahmatuLlah wa BarakatuHu.
Ya Allah! We thank You for making us witness
Ramadan. We thank You for the comnencement and beseech Your Protection,
Guidance. Mercy and Forgiveness in all its coming days and nights!
Ya Allah! We ask that You bless us with maximum
devotion of our entire being into Your worship obligations, and immerse our
heart and soul into Your Worship!
O Allah! Subjugate our limbs into Your Sincere
Worship and adoration!
O Allah! Accept our standing, bowing,
prostration and sitting as we celebrate Your Praise in our devotions!
O Allah! Accept our offerings in devotions, of
our Self, our Family, our Wealth and other Possessions as a worthy, noble
sacrifice to seek Your Pleasure!
O Allah! Forgive us our trespasses against Your
Creation and against our fellow mankind!
O Allah! Repair our brokenness, aid our
helplessness, guide our lost hearts unto Your Way and increase us in
Consciousness of Thee (Taqwa) !
O Allah! Elevate Islam and the Muslims Globally
and Downgrade Atheism Globally and the Atheist and Subdue the Enemies of Your
Deen!
O Allah, bless our Homes, our Society and our
Nation and the rest of the Nations of Islam and the Muslims wheresoever they
may be!
O Allah! Do not render our works and exertions
vain or unacceptable in Your Sight by the virtue of this Noble Month of
Ramadhan and its Hidden Secrets and Bounties! O The Best of those Who show
Mercy! O The Answerer of the one who calls!!

As Salam Alaykum
AlhamduliLlah Ya Allah
we thank You for seeing us through the first fasting. We pray you take us
through the entire fasting to the last one and beyond under Your Merciful Care!
Ya Allah!! You have
said that Fasting is for You and You Alone distributes its reward. We ask You
to make our fasting a pure one that is worthy of Your Maximum Reward.!!
O Allah! Grant us the
good in this world and also in the next world, and protect us from the torment
of the Fire, aamin.

Wal Hamdu LiLlahi, Wa Shukru Lillahi Wa LaHawla Wala Quwwata illa Billahi.
Ya Allahu !! Anta
Maolaana, Wa Khaaliquna Wa Raaziquna Wa Haafizuna! Wa Anta Rabbuna Wa Anta
Hasbuna Wa Nihmal Maola Wa Nihmah Nasir!!
O Allah! You are our
Master, our Creator, our Provider, our Protector! You are our Lord and You are
our Sufficiency, Excellent You are as our Master and as our Helper!!
We thank You for
sustaining us this far into Your Holy Month! O Allah! We have neither strength
nor power to remain in it except that You preserve our lives to partake in its
blessings until its ending and beyond, so we rely on You to keep us safe,
sound, healthy and wealthy in it, and to heighten our zeal for devotions in it,
and to renew our essence on its lights and grant us a rebirth in it that will
transport us into loftier heights of servitude to You and devotions to You, O
Allah!!
May Your Peace and
Blessing be upon our Master Muhammad saw, and His Entire Household and
Companions, aamin.

As Salaam Alaykum
Thank You our God for
another day,
Thank You God for our
waking up,
And enjoying the rays
of Your Golden Sun, Which lights up our way to serving You!
Thank You God for
keeping safe our faith, Which makes great our day in Praising You!
We shall, and forever
raise our voices loud,
To chant Your Praise,
O The Great,
For Your gift of
Ramadhan which again has come our way,
Ya Allah! Truly All
the Praise is due to You as we observe again,
The descent of Your
Mercy and Your Gift of Grace,
In this Month of
Fasting and Prayers,
To lighten our burden
of sins and despair,
To make us wholesome
and full of zeal
By inching up our
faith with devotions to You,
Made more sincerely to
seek Your Face
Ya Allah! Never leave
us to our whims or caprices, even for a moment,
For we rely on none
other except You The One.
May Your Peace and
Blessings permeate Our Nabi,
Sayyiduna Muhammad
Your Prophet of Mercy
Whose advent dispelled
the darkness of ignorance and hate,
And brought to our
hearts the fruits of knowledge
And of Eternal
Felicity in both our Homes
O Allah, Salute once
again Muhammad the Chosen,
And his Household, And
Companions alike,
And those who trek
their paths till Eternity among Your Slaves,
Thank you Ya Allah,
for everything!!

*Ramadhan Day 5*
As Salam Alaykum.
May the Peace and
Salutation of Allah be upon our Noble Prophet, saw and upon his Household and
Companions, Amin.
Dear Beloved:
Concerning our Fasting,
Allah says: in Al-Baqara (2:183)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ
قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
O ye who believe!
Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye
may (learn) self-restraint,-
From the above verse, we should imbibe the
culture of self-restraint, piety or God-consciousness. All that we think or do,
Allah Sees all, Knows all, Appreciates our sacrifices, our perseverance in the
face of hardship and every factor or circumstances we are trying to cope with
which surrounds our fasting devotional exertions.
May Allah ease our paths and dispose of our
affairs in the best way as He does for The Righteous.

*RAMADHAN DAY 6.*
As Salam Alaykum.
Perfect Praise is due to Allah, the One, the
Singular, the Independent Who begets not, nor is He begotten , and there is
none like unto Him.
O Allah, Salute and
Bless Your Unlettered Prophet Muhammad who is a Universal Teacher and Perfect
Role Model. O Allah extend this salutation and blessing to his Household,
Companions and those who follow them till the Day of Judgement, amin.
Dear Beloved,
Concerning our need to
encourage ourselves, the Qur'an reminds in Aal-i-Imraan (3:104)
وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ
أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ
عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Let there arise out
of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right,
and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.
May Allah strengthen us in enjoining others
to noble actions and in discouraging othes from evil.

*RAMADHAN DAY 7*
As Salam Alaykum,
Perfect Praise that
has no sinfulness nor vanity in it is due to Allah, the Majestic ,the
Incomparably Great.
May Allah's Infinite
Peace and Benediction be upon our Master the Bearer of Glad Tidings sent as a
Mercy to the Universe.
Allah Ta'ala says in
the Holy Qur'an: Ar-Ra'd (13:35)
۞ مَثَلُ
الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ
أُكُلُهَا دَائِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا ۚ تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا ۖ وَعُقْبَى
الْكَافِرِينَ النَّارُ
The parable of the Garden which the righteous
are promised!- beneath it flow rivers: perpetual is the enjoyment thereof and
the shade therein: such is the end of the Righteous; and the end of Unbelievers
is the Fire.
We beseech Allah to make us worthy recipients
of His Mercy and the beneficiaries of the Abode of Paradise in the company of
the Righteous, amin.

As Salam Akaykum.
Perfect Praise and
Adoration is due to Allah, the Owner of Sovereignty!
Glory is to our Lord
Who returns life to us today, after causing us to die yesterday, as we sleep.
O Allah! Bless and
Salute our Leader Muhammad, SAW, his household and followers in count equal in
number to those who salute him and those who are heedless of his salutation,
aamin.
Jumuah Mufeedah to us
all as we mark the 2nd one in Ramadhan. May we be counted among the blessed
beneficiaries of its mercy- laden endowments, and may this extend to our family
and loved ones, amin.
Allah SWT reminds in
Qur'an al Majeed in Al-Jumu'a (62:9)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ
ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ
O ye who believe!
When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten
earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off all business (and
traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!
Dear Beloved! Despite the Home Quarantine,
let us imbibe the spirit of the day of jumuah, prepare earnestly, engross
ourselves in devotion, take bath, dress clean,recite surah al-kahf, do our
Friday Alternative Nafilahs, sermonize as a family unit, engage much in the
remembrance of Allah and as-salat on the Nabi such that our fasting today
carries heavy weight on the scale of good deeds.
O Allah!! We beeseech that You continually
make this Ramadhan fasting a profitable one for us in Your Sight, O Most
Appreciative, Most Bountiful Lord, amin.

Alhamdu Lillahi wa
Kafah,.
Was Salatu wa Salaam
Ala Sayyidina Wa Maulana Muhammad Rasulu-l-Ameen.
As Salaam Alaykum and
Ranadhan Mubarak.
We seek Allah's
Continued Strengthening to discharge all the obligations of this Noble Month of
Ramadhan.
We pray for the
Household of the Prophet, the People of Luminous Light of Faith Unparalleled.
We pray for the
Distinguished Companions, the People of Emulation, and we remember those who
competed in the race to earning Allah's Pleasure of Certification for Al-Jannah
even while here on earth! !
O Allah, we seek Thy
Mercy by their mention, as great role models, and these first *TEN* people
mentioned by our Prophet are as follows:
1. Abu Bakr Sideeq
2. Umar ibn Khattab
3. Uthman ibn Affan
4. Ali ibn Abi Talib
5. Talha ibn
Ubaidullah
6. Az-Zubair bin
Al-Awwam
7. Abdur-Rahman ibn
Awf
8. Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas
9. Sa’id ibn Zayd
10. Abu Ubaidah
Al-Jarrah
O Allah!! Bless them
by virtue of the Barakah of this Month of Fasting, and Bless us all by virtue
of our remembering them.
Make us among those
who will compete for Your Pleasure and Mercy and Certify Us as Worthy Servants
and Inmates of the Highest of Stations in Your Paradise and beyond up to
Gaining Your Countenance, O Allah, the Master Of Glory and Honour, Amin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 10*
As Salam Alaykum wa
Rahmatullah.
Alhamdu lillahi Rabbil
Alameen.
To Him belongs the
Praise in the Heavens and the Earth and His Knowledge Encompasses All.
As we proceed with
Ramadhan, let us keep a mind of self re-assessment of our inputs into the race
for Forgiveness and Mercy of Allah through our good deeds, our submission to
His Will, our dedication in worship, our focus on the Qur'an recitation and
studies, our forbearance at making tahajjud and other Nawafils, our kind,
social inter-actions with neighbours, our extension of hands of charity to
others, the nature and quality of our utterances and in fact, every noble act
that adds value to our own soul and brings us closer to Allah, SWT.. Allah
invites us to such a race towards Righteousness in the Holy Qur'an, in Al-Hadid
(57:21):
سَابِقُوا إِلَىٰ
مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ
يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Be ye foremost (in
seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, and a Garden (of Bliss), the width whereof
is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and
His messengers: that is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He
pleases: and Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding..
May Allah strengthen us to becoming more
conscious of our duties and obligations in Ramadhan as we commence the next TEN
days or the 2nd two-thirds.
We pray Allah to bless us with sound health
devoid of illness, sickness or fatigue to proceed on in our fasting and other
devotional obligations, with greater vigour and a strong sense of purpose amin.
Ya Allah, continue to protect us from this
and other Pandemics, calamities and troubles.
Ya Allah!! Accept our plea and bestow Your
Grace upon us, amin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 11*
As Salam Alaykum Wa
RahmatuLlahi wa BarakatuHu.
Ya Allah!! We thank
You for granting us the first third of Ramadhan under Your Mercy!!
O Allah!! We seek Your
Compassion to see us through the remaining days as Your Servants in whom You
are well-pleased.
As we commence the 2nd
of the THREE, we are reminded about intensifying our salat on the Prophet.
Allah T"aala instructs:in the Holy Qur'an: Al-Ahzaab (33:56)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ
وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
Allah and His
angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on
him, and salute him with all respect.
May Allah strengthen us to the rendition of
plenty salawats on the Prophet and his Household and Companions.. There are
many formulae to the recital, and all are geared towards seeking the
Salutation, Peace, Mercy, Blessing or Barakah of Allah upon him, SAW and it is
a means of gaining Allah's Love and Acceptance, and a means of quickening the
obtainment of our own needs both spiritual and mundane, both in this world and
in the Hereafter.
O Allah!! Salute, Bless and shower Your Peace
upon our Master Muhammad, the Leader of all that Exist in Your Universe, the
One Sent as Mercy to the Worlds, the Caller unto You with Your Permission, and
the Illuminating Lamp, amin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 12.*
As Salam Alaykum.
Perfect Praise,
Adoration and Holiness is due to Allah, the King, the Holy, the Great, the
Exalted in might!!
Perfect Salutations,
Blessings and Peace be upon the Leader, the Chosen, the Pure, the Owner of
Elevated Ranks, our Nabi Muhammad, and also upon His Ahlu-l-Bayt and His
Sahaabahs, aamin.
Allah SWT calls us to
a matter for reflection and redress concerning the sourcing, accumulation and
utilisation of the ephemeral pursuits in life, in the Glorious Qur'an:, in
Al-Maaidah (5:100):
قُلْ لَا يَسْتَوِي
الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا
اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Say: " *Not
equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the
abundance of the bad may dazzle thee; so fear Allah, O ye that understand; that
(so) ye may prosper."*
Often the one strong in faith feels
overwhelmed when he sees the people of the world and the enormity of their
material acquisitions and display of opulence lifestyles, compared to the
limited capacity they possess for earning of halaal livelihoods. Allah reminds
the Believer not to be intimidated or daunted by those ill-gotten acquisitions
compared to his own honest pursuits, which despite his putting his ALL into it,
yields or earns him just an average in possessions, as the enormity of the
indecent acquisitions of the other fellow man, has no meaning or worth before
Allah who is Good and will accept nothing but Good Works. The one who stray off
the Path of decency and honour, away from The Straight Path enjoined by God and
His Apostle, will sooner or later leaves behind these acquisitions at point of
death, without going with an atom of it, and these things eventually become
burdens and loads chained to the necks, or which bends the backbones, thus
creating obstructions, discomforts, tortures and troubles as the dead one
continues his journey into and beyond the grave, into and beyond the barzakh,
and into the Lands Unknown, until he arrives at the Day of Meeting his Lord for
Judgement, Recompense and Eternal Life of either Perpetual Woes or Felicity and
Bliss.
As Ramadhan is here NOW, and as the life is
still throbbing in the hearts, there is still ample chances at self- reprisal,
self-cleansing, self-readjustments and of re-alignment to the Straight Course
Commanded by God, and thus of unburdening of the Self, from the unwanted clogs
in the wheel of one's spiritual, moral and material progress and deviation from
the unwholesome pursuits of vagaries of life!!
Yes, the coast can still be cleared, there is
still light at the end if tye tunnel, the Door of Forgiveness is widely open in
this fasting Season, and Allah is the Omnipotent Acceptor of Repentance! ! He
is Oft-Firgiving and Merciful!! He calls us in that verse to *Fear Him, so that
we may prosper.*
_Ya
Allah!! Grant us sustenance and well-being from Your Halaal Provisions, and
disuade our hearts from the pursuit of the haraam. O Allah grant us Contentment
in the provisions You have endowed us with, and grant us the inner yearnings
and love for Thee and Thy Ways alone, and expand our hearts to accomodate the
love of Thy Prophet and His Ways alone, by virtue of the Barakah of this Holy
Month of Ramadhan full of blessings, O Allah, the Grantor of Bounties, the
Rich, the Enricher of all,in Thee do we rely for our halaal sustenance in this
world till the time of meeting Thee and Thy Pleasure, aamin._

*RAMADHAN DAY 13*
As Salam Alaykum.
Praise is due to
Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. The Most Compassionate the Most Merciful.
O Allah!! Salute and
Bless our Master Muhamnad the Unlettered Prophet, Bearer of Glad Tidings and
Warner, and extend this salutations to His Household and Companions, amin.
Allah shares an
important alert with us in the Holy Qur'an in Surah Al-A'raaf (7:27)
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لَا
يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ
يَنْزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْآتِهِمَا ۗ إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ
هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ
أَوْلِيَاءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
O ye Children of
Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out
of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he
and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the
evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.
Therefore do not let down your guards of
constant review of your thoughts and actions, in a manner to block the ploys,
plots and schemes of satan from your consciousness. Think twice before you act,
imbibe patience, endure, persevere, overlook, do not act rashly, expand your
heart to forget, forgive, accommodate love and assist others, all for the Sake
of Allah's Pleasure.
May Allah's Refuge be forever over us against
the whims and caprices of the accursed satan and his cohorts of men and jinn.
We seek Allah's Mighty Power in overcoming its hold and dictates,over us, and
in distancing it away from our lives, amin.
اعوذ
بالله من الشيطان الرجيم.

*RAMADHAN DAY 14*
As Salaam Alaykum.
Bismillahi Rahmanir
Raheem.
Alhandu lillahi Rabbil
Aalameen.
Wa Salatu was Salaam
ala Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina Muhamnad, SAW, wa ala Ahlihi was Sahbihi
Ajnaeen, amin.
Ranadhan Kareem. May
Allah accept our ibadaats by day and by night in this Auspicious Month of
Grace, amin.
Allah Ta'ala gives
glad tidings of His Mercy, in the Holy Qur'an: Al-An'aam (6:54)
وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ
نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ
تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
When those come to
thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath
inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in
ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is
Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
Masha Allah! We are assured of Allah's
Forgiveness and Mercy despite our mistakes and errors !! Once we realize and
make sincere tawbah(repentance), and amend our conduct, He SWT guarantees us
His Mercy. May Allah shower His Mercy over us and over our family members and
our beloved ones, by virtue of the Season of Ramadhan, full of Blessing and
Free Endowments from our Rabb, aamin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 15*
As Salam Alaykum,
All The Praise is due
to Allah the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner.
May the Peace and
Blessings of Allah be on the Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad saw, his Household and
Companions till the Day of Judgement, amin.
Allah admonishes us in
the Holy Qur'an: Al-Anfaal (8:24)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ
إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
O ye who believe!
give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that
which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his
heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.
And also in the next verse: Al-Anfaal (8:25)
وَاتَّقُوا
فِتْنَةً لَا تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْكُمْ خَاصَّةً ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا
أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
And fear tumult or
oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong:
and know that Allah is strict in punishment.
Ya Allah,we Beseech Thee on this Auspicious
Day of Jumuah in this Great Month of Ramadhan to forgive us our trespasses,
overlook our faults and remove the Pandemic of CoViD-19 and other Epidemics,
Fitnah, Travails and Calamities from our lives. Return Thy Peace and
Tranquility to us, and Protect All those fighting in Thy Cause to preseeve the
sanctity of life in one way or the other. O Allah, do not punish us for the
evils perpetrated by those who do not fear Thee, O Most Merciful Lord, amin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 16*
As Salam Alaykum.
Blessed is He in Whose
Hand is The Kingdom, and He has Power over all things.
O Allah!! Salute,
Bless and Send Your Peace to the Noble Prophet Muhammad and his Household and
Companions according to the count of the Odd and the Even in the Universe.
Allah Ta'ala explains
to us, with respect to the EIGHT categories of beneficiaries for our Zakat and
Sadaqah in the Holy Qur'an: At-Tawba (9:60) thus:
۞ إِنَّمَا
الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا
وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ
اللَّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ ۖ فَرِيضَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Alms are for the
poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those
whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to Truth); for those in bondage
and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained
by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
The above are the Divine Guidelines which we
are expected to follow and it is especially in this month that the
implementation of the compulsory institution of Zakat is recommended by the
Prophet. Those whose wealth have reached the *nisab* limit of qualifications
for the deduction of zakat should take heed as this is quite distinct from
Sadaqah which is not compulsory. Hence all obligations that are due by way of
zakat should be met before, or at least hand-in-hand with those of sadaqah.
Zakah, being a pillar of Islam, should be observed by those whose wealth
attracts same.
May Allah guide us to His Way of Pleasure
always.

*RAMADHAN DAY 17*
As Salaam Alaykum,
To Allah belongs the
Praise in the Heavens and the Earth, and He Encompasses All Things in
Knowledge.
May the Peace, Mercy
and Blessing of Allah be perpetually upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhamnad the
Chosen One, and upon his family, companions and all thise who follow them till
the End of Time, amin.
Allah makes a wake-up
call to us in the Holy Qur'an: As-Saff (61:2 and 3) thus:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ
O ye who believe!
Why say ye that which ye do not?
:كَبُرَ
مَقْتًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ
Grievously odious
is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not.
These verses are admonition to us on
truthfulness. Truthfulness is one of the important character-traits of a
sincere Believer and it is the absence of telling lies or acting in a deceitful
manner or living a life of lies or fraud or disdainfully making others see you
from an angle that you are not, with the intention of creating a wrong
impression in the minds of others.
It is a phenomenon that has become s
permanent habit to many especially in busines , family, work-place and
commerce. It is a blameworthy act which stealthily steals away someone’s
barakah, destroys noble works, perforates enviable actions, disintegrates
rewards and debases both moral and spiritual stations of many ardent
worshippers.
The Noble Prophet corroborates the reality of
an untruthful person in one of his sayings thus:
“*I enjoin you to be truthful, for
truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man
may continue to tell the truth and endeavour to be truthful until he is
recorded with Allah as a speaker of truth.
And beware of lying, for lying leads to
wickedness and wickedness leads to Hell. A man may continue to tell lies and
endeavour to tell lies, until he is recorded with Allah as a liar”* (Narrated
by Sahih-Bukhari:6094 and Sahih-Muslim:2607).
The Month of Emancipation from Hellfire and
of Entry into Paradise is here. Ramadhan is here and is also departing
gradually. What do you do now? Where fo you start? With what options are you
left?
What remains is the turning of the heart
wholesomely away from *The Habit of Lying,* using the Gate of Sincere
Repentance. Seeking Allah's Forgiveness and that of Mankind followed by an
*Inner Strength of Will* to that of Acting, Talking and Living truthfully. If
this is put into perpetual action, perhaps the self-reformation might help
raise the status from that of a cheap, unworthy devoteee before Almighty Allah
to a honourable worshipper.
We seek Allah's Refuge from the evils of a
life of lies and pretensions, to that of truthfulness in all affairs, high or
low, so that we become respectable Inmates of Paradise, living Eternally in
Happiness, aamin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 18*
As Salam Alaykum.
We give Praise and
Adoration to Allah the Magnificent, and we send the Peace and Salutation of
Allah to the Prophet of Mercy, our Master Muhammad, and may it extend to his
Household and Companions, SAW.
Allah Reminds us in the
Holy Qur'an: Al-Hajj (22:11)
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ
يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرْفٍ ۖ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ ۖ
وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انْقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا
وَالْآخِرَةَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ
There are among men
some who serve Allah, as it were, on the verge: if good befalls them, they are,
therewith, well content; but if a trial comes to them, they turn on their
faces: they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to
see!
The above verse admonishes us to accept all
the decree or judgement or decision of Allah over us both at times of ease or
hardship or when things are in our favour or against us.
In all cases, let us submit willingly to
Allah and not allow such occurrences affect our state of worshipful servitude
or zeal in devotion or harmonious state of trust and reliability on Almighty
Allah, SubhanaHu wa Ta'ala. Let us embrace all seasons with open, loving,
unbiased and unquestioning mind towards Allah; rather let us enhance our eeman
to a point of understanding and knowing with certainty that whateverAllah the
Majestic does is indeed the most beautiful in our favour. He is our Creator,
the Caetaker Who knows what is good for us at every point in time and that
which will guarantee us eternal felicity both in This World and in the
Hereafter.
O Allah!! We ask for improved Eeman and
Dependence in You, O Caretaker of Hearts, O Most Kind God.!

*RAMADHAN DAY 19*
As Salam Alaykum.
In the Name of Allah,
the Mercy-Giving, the Merciful.
Praise is due to Allah
the Lord of the Worlds.
Perfect peace and
blessings of Allah upon the Unletteted Apostle, the Prophet of Mercy, our
Master Muhamnad, saw, and upon His Family and Companions, amin.
As we struggle in our
various devotional services in worship and humilty before Allah, the Exalted,
we are encouraged not to relent in putting our utmost effort in these remaining
days of fasting, and especially in the last third that we are entering by His
Special Grace, through humble endeavours and noble interactions with all men,
kindness and apathy to our kith, kin and fellow brethen in faith, among others.
These, coupled with dedication in worship, in contemplating Allah, in sending
salawats on the Prophets are ways to strive for the Hereafter assiduously and
to seek His Pleasure. We shoud avoid every blameworthy acts or thoughts or
utterances too. We should be meek, humble, aporoachable and affable to all
manner of men.The end-goal is piety which we must seek through righteousness in
all ramifications of our existence.
Allah SWT says in the
Holy Qur'an: Al-Qasas (28:83)
تِلْكَ الدَّارُ
الْآخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا
فَسَادًا ۚ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِين
That Home of the
Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not high-handedness or mischief on
earth: and the. end is (best) for the righteous.

*RAMADHAN DAY 20*
As Salam Alaykum,
Praise and Glory is
for Allah, the Powerful, the Majestic.
Peace and Blessing is
to the Holy Prophet, the Leader of Mankind and Jinn.
May this salutation
extend to His Noble Household and Distinguished Companions.
May the same Peace
extend to us all, and those who followed His Guidance in Truth, till the Day of
Resurrection.
Allah reminds us about
the frailty of the existence in this world, being a temporary, fleeting matter,
and the need for us to focus on the purpose of our existence being true
worship, so as not to be lured by the fallacy of its glitters which has the
reality of fading away after a short while, just like the vegetation.
Allah emphasizes in
the Holy Qur'an: Yunus (10:24)
إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ
الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ
نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا
أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ
قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا
حَصِيدًا كَأَنْ لَمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ
لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
The likeness of the
life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies: by its
mingling arises the produce of the earth- which provides food for men and
animals: (It grows) till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is
decked out (in beauty): the people to whom it belongs think they have all
powers of disposal over it: There reaches it Our command by night or by day,
and We make it like a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished only the
day before! thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect.
From the above, we learn that this life has
no permanence, only in whatever devotions and good, righteous endeavours do we
gain some permanent benefits for our soul. Hence we should always make
continuous efforts at rebirth, shunning our bad ways and striving to improve on
our good ones.
May we gain Allah's increased love as we
approach our ibadan in this final third of the Ramadhan days, so that we all
gain emancipation from the throes of Hellfire.
_Allahumma Innaka Afuww Kareem,
Tuhibbu-l-Afwa, fa Afwaa-nna, amin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 21*
As Salam Alaykum.
Ya Allah! Send Your
Peace, Bless and Salute Your Prophet and His Household and Companions in Uncountable
Times!!
We give Praise, Thanks
and Glory to Allah TWT who has given us the Opportunity to witness the
commencement of the LAST THIRD being the Final days and indeed the Most
Significant days called *Walayaalin Ashrin* which Allah emphasizes in Sural al
Fajri.
So what are we
expected to do? We need to *exert ourselves in Allah's worship to our last
manageable limits*, supplicating, bowing, prostrating, keeping long hours at
tahajjud night prayers, seekung pardon, sending Salawats on the Nabi reciting
the Qur'an, contemplating the verses, understanding The Message, aligning ourselves
to all acts that will bring us closer to Allah, and searching for the *Great
Night of Power* which is better than a thousand months.(*Surah Al Qadr
97:1-5).*
The search for this
night becomes imperative because it is hidden by Allah in the odd nights
starting from the evening of Ramadhan 20th to the dawn of the fast standing
before Shawwal 1 or Eid Day. Our aim is to ensure that the Night of Power meets
us while busy on one worship duty or the other but definitely not on sleep or
idle play. So let us heighten our resolve and send away all manner of fatigue
in our minds. Additionally, we should engage in much dhikr, kalimatu *la ilaha
illa Allah,* in addition to our other devotions of which 70,000 is encouraged,
after the Istighfar and Salat on Nabi (which hopefully has been earlier
achieved) for all lovers and trekkers to Allah.
Concerning this Night
of Power, Allah informs elsewhere in the Holy Qur'an:, in Surah Ad-Dukhaan
(44:3-46) thus:
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى
لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
We sent it down
during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).
فِيهَا
يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
In the (Night) is
made distinct every affair of wisdom,
أَمْرًا
مِّنْ عِندِنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
By command, from
Our Presence. For We (ever) send (revelations),
رَحْمَةً
مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
As Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and
knows (all things);
It is in this Power-Laden Night that Allah
revealed the Qur'an to guide mankind and to act as The Proof and The
Distinction and for which reason the Fasting as an Obligatory Pillar was
established. It is therefore a boon to all mankind to earn the reward of alm
*ost 84 years of worship* in just a single, _busy-with-God_ night! ! Alhamdu
lillah Ya Allah for this Gift!!!
May the Peace of Allah be upon All the
Messengers.
And All Praise is due to Allah the Lord of
the Worlds, amin.

*Allahumma Balighna Laylatul Qadr.*
O Allah!! Make us fortunate to gain the Night
of Power. Aamin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 22*
As Salam Alaykum.
Perfect Praise and
Adoration are due to Allah, the Holy One, the Guarduan of faith, the
Independent.
Perfect Peace that has
in it, neither Vanity nor Sinfulness be upon our Chosen Prophet of Mercy, the
Illuminating Lamp, the Healer of Souls, Sayyiduna Muhammad Al-Mujtaba. May this
blessing extends into His Household and His Companions, Aamin.
Allah charges our
souls towards purity of intentions and actions. He guides us towards sincerity
in worship and devotions. He admonishes us towards vying for unblemished
advancement in faith in Him. He expands our breasts towards a higher
comprehension of the Deen. He demands from us continuous enhancement in our
understanding of His Greatness, His Oneness and Uniqueness, His Power, as The
One who has no semblance in the entire Creation and Whose Requirement to us is
that we Know Him, Aporeciate in through sincere, selfless worship and finally
use the route of Love and Remembrance to gain access to His Perpetual Holy
Presence as we traverse through life. This cannit be possible until we have
fully grasped the totality of meaning of La ilah illa ALLAH, no god or deity
deserving of recognition or obeisance through worshp except ALLAH.
The Qur'an, in surah
Muhammad (47:19) affirms:
فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ
إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ
Know, therefore,
that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the
men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell
in your homes.
May Allah increase us in comprehension and
eeman. May He make us better, more-qualitative, pious Believers as we strive
passionately in devotions in this last-lap of the Ramadhan Season, such that
will guarantee for us, spiritual elevation, enviable station and loftier access
to Him, as intimate servants in whom He is well-pleased, aamin.

*RAMADHAN DAY 23*
As Salam Alaykum .
Blessed is He Who has
sent down The Criterion, (the Holy Qur'an) so that it can be a Warner to the
Worlds.
Blessed is His Nane in
the Heavens and the Earth, and He is the One to whom all depend, Glorified and
Exalted is He, above all that is associated with Him.
May Allah send His
Peace and Blessing upon our Leader Muhammad, SAW and upon his household and
companions, amin.
As we exert ourselves
and put in our best in these remaining days by way of prayers, charity,
nawafils, night vigils, Qur'an recitation and tafsir, Allah assured us of great
reward of our fast. As we know, Fasting is solely for Allah and it is a duty He
has assigned upon Himself to grant its rewards. Hence, along with the extra
add-ons which the Believers personally set standards or targets to accomplish,
we can only encourage ourselves not to relent or be fatigued, especially as we
cannot comprehend what great benefits are in it for us now in this present
life, since there is no weighing scale to employ in gauging individual's
inputs. However, let us know that Allah's Promise is true. In these last days,
we have a body of believers who have secluded themselves away in their private
chanbers, in all of the hours by day and night. calling upon Allah, seeking His
forgiveness, letting The Message of Allah pass through their being as they
recite or listen or follow the meanings of the Qur'an, humbling thenselves,
before Him in bowing and prostrations. seeking His Noble Face. Indeed, many
will carry radiant faces on the Day of Qiyaamah for their painstaking exertion
of will to maximise their devotions to Allah in the period of searching for,
and overtaking he Night of Power, which is better than *A THOUSAND MONTHS OF
WORSHIP.* Concerning the reality of this effort, He SWT affirms in Surah
At-Taghaabun (64:9) thus:
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ
وَيَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍ
تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ
ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
The Day that He
assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss
and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,-
He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath
which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme
Achievement.
May Allah makes us fortunate to earning great
gains and not losses for our perseverance and fortitude in these last days of
Ranadhan. May we be blessed with the Gardens of Eternity and be fortunate to
perpetually gaze upon our Lord and Cherisher in unending bliss, amin. aamin.

As Salam Alaykum.
The Praise is for
Allah, the First, the Last, the Outwardly-Manifest and the Inwardly-Hidden.
Ya Allah!! Salute and
Bless our Master Muhamnad and His Household and Companions according to His
Worth and Dignity which are great.
Ya Allah!! Grant us
the dexterity the high determination, and the positive energy to immerse our
soul, spirit, body and self into Your worship and untiring devotions as we
continue to search for the Night of Power!!
O Allah, make our body
pliant and flexible for Your Worship, doing nafilahs in the day and the qiyaam
at night, standing, bowing and prostrating before Your Great Essence !!
O Allah!! You are the
Pardoning Lord, You Love Pardon, so pardon us!!
O Allah grant us the
blessings of Laylatul Qadr, bestow us with the rewards of devotions that is
better than a thousand months by virtue of this year's blessed Ramadan as it is
quickly leaving us on its journey back to its Lord!
O Allah!! Grant us all
amazing spiritual rebirth that transforms us from sinners to noble and worthy
slaves before You!!
O Allah!! By virtue of
Your Great Spirit of Bestowal of Grace in these remaining days of the Blessed
Ramadhan, we seek acceptance of our dua from You, we seek relief from our
anxieties and pains, we seek ease over our hardships, we seek Your Pardon over
our sinfulness and Your Mercy over our entire affairs, bless us and ours O the
Most Gentle and Compassionate Lord, aamin.
_Allahumma balighna Laylatul Qadr_

*RAMADHAN DAY 25*
As,Salam Alaykum.
Glory be to Allah and
to Him is the Praise due, according to the count of His Creation, and to the
extent of His Pleasure and by the weight of His Throne and by the Quantum of
Ink capable of writing down His Statements, amin.
May the Peace, Mercy
and Blessing of Allah be upon the Noble Prophet Muhammad, saw and His Exalted
Ahlu l Bayt and Distinguished Companions, amin.
Allah reminds us that
our focus and endeavours should be directed at actions or works which are
regarded by Him as of immense values as opposed to those which are merely
conveniences of this life, and are merely transient as they lack the quality of
perpetuity, which renders them incapable of granting us benefits beyond this
present life.
So what to do?
Fiirst way out is to live our lives and keep
our endeavours under Allah's Regulations with the intention that we are for
Allah: our living, worship, endeavours, prayers, sacrifices and dying are for
His Sake. In addition, to practise honourable dispositions with all manner of
men and other lower creations, humbling ourselves at all points of dealings or
inter-actions, knowing that we are by those comportments, attitude or
behaviour, worshipping Allah who is the Umpire between us and them, and that we
are doing so for His Sake and hope in His Pleasure, since He Sees, Hears, Knows
and will compensate every sacrifices we make or inconveniences we patiently
endured for His Sake on our interactions with men and animals.
That is why He informs
us in the Qur'an, in Surah Al-Qasas (28:60)
وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن
شَىْءٍ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ
خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
The (material)
things which ye are given are but the conveniences of this life and the glitter
thereof; but that which is with Allah is better and more enduring: will ye not
then be wise?
So, the path of wisdom is to act righteously
and send for our next life good deeds before we die. In addition, we should
convert our worldly assets to currencies or investments expendable in the
Hereafter, such that we gain the benefits there when we pass away, instead of
leaving them here with no single benefit to us the moment the hour of death
arrives.
Ya ALLAH!! Grant us the Inner Vision to see
and appreciate the reality of all things in their true perspectives, and to act
in manners pleasing to You.
*Allahumma Invaka Afuww, Tuhibbu-l-Afwa, Fa'
afwanna, aamin.*

As Salam Alaykum.
Perfect Praise and
Adoration is due to Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner who says :
Surely We have created Mankind in the best make. . (At-Tin).
May Allah's Choicest
Blessing reside upon our Leader and Guide, Sayyiduna Muhammad al Mustafa PHUH
who said: My Lord taught me ethics and my tutorial was indeed excellent. He is
the Unlettered Prophet that was tutored by Allah, and He became the Greatest
Teacher that taught the knowledge and the ethics.
May peace be upon his
household and companions, amin.
We thank Allah as He
gas guided us through the Holy Month and has increased us in faith. We seek His
Rahmah to grant us the Blessings and the Fruits of Laylatul Qadr, and to repair
for us our character and heal our sick hearts such that we gain complete
spiritual rebirth and an illumined soul and spirit that is positively energized
to advance closer to its Lord in all our states, both at rest and in motion,
amin.
Let us all protect
what has been gained by way of the following:
*Increased* time usage in the worship
devotions,
*Increased* focus in learning, understanding
and living by the Commands of the Holy Qur'an.
*Increased* attitudinal love for
open-handedness, charitable thoughts and alms-giving.
*Increased* focus on building a hone in the
Akhirah and less focus in over-expediture of our active energy in the pursuit
of Duniya to the detriment of the Hereafter.
*The love* for halal as against haram choices
in the food we eat, the cloth we wear, the earnings we make and in our dealings
with others in business, private or public life.
*The love* for the poor, the needy and the
disadvantaged brethen wuthinband outside the Islamic fold.
*The love* for wanting to meet Allah with a
sound heart.
These and more have we
been blessed with in Ramadhan.
May the great largesse
of Laylatul Qadr be apportioned to us and our loved ones, by the homour of the
Best Scripture sent through the Best Prophet to the Best Ummah in the Best of
Months and by the additional virtue of starting of this Ramadhan in the Best of
the Days and about to end in the same Best of the Days, amin. May Allah's
Peace, Mercy and Blessings reside with us all, aamin.

and emancipated the multitude from the Fire of hell!!
O Ramadhan, You are
departing leaving the Believers with purer hearts and a greater station in
piety and Godliness.!!
O Ramadhan, Your
presence in our midst is a balm to our soul, a soothing, refreshing antidote to
our sick hearts!!
You cane and repaired
our brokenness and infirmities!
You took us out of
depths of darkness to heights of spiritual illuminations!!
You came, stayed with
us and beckoning is goodbye as if in a twinkle of an eye!!
You came and sojourned
with us and almost in a flash, bidding us goodbye again!
O Ramadhan!! May we
never experience any matter of backsliding in faith as you go back to your
Lord!!
May your staying with
us be the future basis of our spiritual strengthing and enhancing of relations
between us and our Rabb!!

*RAMADHAN DAY 30*
_AFTER RAMADHAN, WHAT NEXT_ ???
As,Salam Alaykum.
Praise is due to The
Exalted in Might, the One Who Controls His Universe and Creation as He Wills.
Glory and Exalted is He, far ftom what they (the rejecters of faith) ascribe
unto Him.
O Allah! Send Your
Peace, Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad SAW, his Home and Companions in
uncountable numbers, amin.
*Ramadhan is* a practical demonstration of our
reality as Allah's Best-Model of Creation, capable of true servitude, humility,
sincere dedication in worship, abasenent before its Lord, faith in its Creator and
the reality that he is nothing, absolutely nothing before Allah, but who is
FAVOURED, and may become somebody, a really -worthy somebody before Allah.
This is the first
lesson of Ramadhan. Allah says in Surah Al-Bayyina (98:5)
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا
لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
And they have been
commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion,
being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular
charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight.
Therefore, after Ramadhan, this new rebirth
should NOT DEPART from us. Rather, this new Virtue in us must improve, so that
it gradually but consistently draws us through His Remembrance, closer to Him
SWT, and develops OUR HEART for immersion into HIS LOVE . From this love our
hearts gain Harmony and Tranquility with Existence and Creation and engenders
Perpetual Happiness for us here and hereafter.
*Ramadhan is also* a practical demonstration
by Man, of the Angelic nature in hin as a being who has compassionate feelings
to extend to another fellow man or animals, such characteristics as acts of
kindness, consideration, apathy, charity, benevolence, protection, friendliness
, care, support,assurance and the likes all out of LOVE to Allah his Creator
and for His Sake. This lesson is to protect the self, mind and reason from
allowing these virtuous attributes TO DEPART. The hearr must be schooled to retain
and re-use with careful focus, these traits such that we become naturally
better at them. They must NOT DEPART, but, rather IMPROVE when Ramadhan goes
away.
This is when we move closer to Allah and
becones worthy of the important role of truly shouldering the post of
Vicegerency which He has assigned to us, for ensuring our peaceful and
harmonious co-existence with others, man or other living and non-living
creatures, high or low. Below this standard is chaos, anarchy and war on earth.
Allah Taala says towards the end of the ayah
in Al-Muzzammil (73:20)...
ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ
ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا ۚ وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌۢ
And whatever good
ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better
and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
This is thus the only basis for us attaining
TRUE HAPPINESS on earth and a NOBLE COME-BACK in the Hereafter.
May Allah grant us His Mercy and not deprive
us of these two great beneficial lessons, aamin.
